Story of Amaya Eating a Bug.....

As you may have known from my last blog post, I recently ate a bug- a chocolate-covered cricket to be exact! XD

Well, I suppose I should tell you all (Mayu)the story behind said adventure today.

It all started in Block 1W.......

It began when Mr. Turner, my Psychology teacher, asked us to fill out a Fear Survey since we had just been typing about the different methods of conducting research.

The survey ranged in question from "Would you go skydiving?" to "Would you eat dog meat?" to "Would you bungee-jump?"

Of course, there had to be the question "Would you eat a chocolate-covered insect(ant, grasshopper, etc.)?"

On my survey I put "No" down right away!

After having some student teacher/observer split up the papers, Mr. Turner went through the names of the people who put "Yes" on for the eating a chocolate-covered bug question.

It was then at this time that he went to his cabinets and pulled out a box that seemed to be filled with candy.

My first thought was that he was going to 'award' the 'brave' students that put down a 'Yes' for the chocolate-covered bugs question.

How wrong I turned out to be......

It seemed as if this 'candy' was actually a real-life oven-roasted cricket covered in chocolate.

Boy was I shocked.

So, he passed out the crickets to all the students that said yes, however he made sure they signed a consent form stating that if they got sick that he was not liable for any thing. XD Smart teacher~

It was at this time that I felt let down that I didn't have the courage to put down 'Yes' on that question.

Thankfully, Mr.Turner heard my silent plea and asked if any of the students who put no wanted one! 8D

I quickly raised my hand along with one more girl in my class, my Master Mentor, Katie Brown! XD (GO BROWN POWER! XD)

So he gave us the crickets and said to let at it.

After watching a few people eat theirs, I opened mine up to find a delightful sight.......

The cricket's abdomen/leg were sticking out of the block of chocolate it was in... XP

Getting up the courage, I plopped the morsel into my mouth and began to chew.

Much to my surprise, the 'delicacy' tasted like a Crunch bar! O.O

So that my friends (Mayu XD) is the tale of Amaya and the Chocolate-Covered Cricket! XD

I'm actually still alive everyone! O.O

Yes, though school has made me quite brain-dead.

Yep! That's right, I actually ate a bug today! 8D

To be more specific, it was a chocolate-covered cricket!

It actually tasted pretty yummy, just like a Crunch bar!

The only gross thing about it was that you could see the leg/abdomen sticking out of the chocolate. >.<

Well, I be stalking some JE stuff for a little bit longer then off to bed!
